Learning is at the core of everything we do.

At a glance

  • Cincinnati’s only egalitarian beit midrash launches in 2019 with the support of Hadar.

  • Havayah hosts “Learning to Leyn” workshop series to help Jewish adults build leyning skills.

  • We teach the absolute basics of Hebrew so that community members can literally be on the same page during services.

What to expect in 2019

1.

We’ll launch our beit midrash, sponsored by our friends at Hadar. Tell us what you want to learn and we’ll find you the chevruta (learning companion/accountability buddy/friend you didn’t know you needed) you’ve been waiting for.

2.

Six members of Havayah will learn to leyn Megillat Esther and present the community’s first egalitarian reading of this megillah.

3.

We’ll gather a month before each holiday to learn about the upcoming holiday with our friends from Congregation Adath Israel.
